Baby Formula

 These days there are absolutely dozens of different types of Baby Formula. Back when I had my children there were only 2 Lactogen or S26 and if that was not suitable watered down cows milk.

Today there are cows milk based products and also soy and goat milk based plus formulas for different age brackets to add to the confusion. They also have different stages now 0-12 Months and 6 to 12 months.

Amcal infant formula ,

Soy or goats milk based :– 0-12 months

these two are also lactose and sucrose free

Cows Milk:– 0-12 months 

If you have your baby on cow milk based formula’s and they are vomiting, 53026973TB001_Long_Favored_have diarrhea, or unexplained rashes then perhaps they have an allergic reaction to cows milk. If this is the case try one of the Soy or goats milk based products but if the problems don’t subside within a few days contact your Doctor or Clinic Sister for further advice.

When shopping for your babies formula remember that Price does not always dictate the quality of the product so ask other mothers you know who have happy contented babies and discuss with your Doctor before rushing out and buying a case.

The cost of bottle feeding is not cheep estimated to cost around $1,200 to $2.000 a year so keep this in mind while you are mulling over which way to go.
